About dermatology

A pediatric dermatologist treats diseases and pathologies of the skin, mucous membranes, hair and nails of a child.

The work of an adult dermatologist differs significantly from that of a pediatric dermatologist. This is due to the peculiarities of children's skin: it is much more sensitive, and almost all pathologies that occur in the child's body affect its condition.

  • Qualified dermatologists with extensive experience working with children.
  • Own pathomorphological laboratory.
  • It is possible to obtain a "second opinion" from experts from the USA, Israel, France and other countries.

We accept patients from the first days of life up to and including 18 years of age. Many EMC specialists have been trained in leading clinics in Europe, Israel and the USA. All of them have the appropriate certification and extensive experience working with children. Pediatric dermatologists at our clinic actively interact with pediatricians and other pediatric specialists in order to provide comprehensive medical care to residents of Moscow and other Russian cities.

At the reception, the doctor will conduct an examination, collect an anamnesis and make an optimal treatment plan for each child.

Dermatologists at the EMC Children's Dermatology Center in Moscow widely use the phototherapy method to treat skin diseases such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis (neurodermatitis), parapsoriasis, lichen planus, seborrheic dermatitis, focal baldness, vitiligo, etc. Experts note the high efficiency, versatility and safety of phototherapy, which is especially important in the case of treating diseases in children.

On the basis of the Clinic of Dermatovenerology and Allergology-Immunology of the European Medical Center, an Itch Treatment Center is successfully operating, in which specialists from various fields provide comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic manifestations of this disease.

Itching can be a symptom of many skin diseases, internal diseases, neurological and mental disorders. Among the services offered:

  • outpatient and inpatient care
  • local and systemic drug therapies
  • psychological help
  • phototherapy

The European Medical Center has its own pathomorphological laboratory, which allows for histological examinations. If necessary, it is possible to obtain a "second opinion" from experts from the USA, Israel, France and other countries regarding biopsies (removed formations).

In our clinic, you can undergo a medical examination and get certificates from a pediatric dermatologist for a swimming pool, a sports club and children's facilities.
