Diagnostics

Treatment

• Drug therapy – prescribing medications used to correct urinary disorders;
• Botulinum therapy – injections of botulinum toxin is one of the most effective and widely used methods in Western clinics for the treatment of urinary disorders such as urinary incontinence and difficulty urinating;
• Sacral neuromodulation – is used for reduction or loss of contractile function of the bladder and consists in simulating the natural innervation of the pelvic organs through the implantation of high-tech devices;
• Tibial neuromodulation is a type of neuromodulation in which the sacral spine is stimulated, resulting in decreased bladder hyperactivity and normalization of pelvic organ function;
• BOS therapy – training and rehabilitation of the pelvic floor muscles after childbirth in women who have undergone neurosurgery and operations on the pelvic organs;
• Intermittent (periodic) catheterization of the bladder is one of the most effective and safe ways to remove urine using a catheter in a certain category of patients;
• Surgical treatment is also available in the arsenal of the EMC clinic, but with the advent of modern methods of treating neurogenic urination disorders, it is currently used extremely rarely.
