Periodontology

Periodontology is a branch of dentistry related to the treatment of inflammatory periodontal diseases (gums, bone tissue, and ligamentous apparatus of the tooth). The EMC Dental Clinic uses the full range of modern methods for the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases.

The purpose of periodontal treatment is to eliminate inflammation, restore the anatomical structure and physiological function of tissues. Periodontal treatment requires an integrated approach and maintenance of the achieved therapeutic effect.

We carry out all stages of periodontal disease treatment:

relief of inflammation (medical treatment of periodontal pockets, gum treatment);

removal of teeth that have lost their supporting function;

plastic bridles;

open and closed curettage of periodontal pockets;
restoration of chewing function (rational prosthetics and splinting of movable teeth).

We know that any dental treatment is easier to prevent. Therefore, we attach great importance to the prevention of dental and gum diseases. We recommend regular visits to the dentist for the prevention of inflammatory periodontal diseases.
