A practical story

To the dentist-therapist Alexander Malikov was treated by a patient with acute toothache, the gum around the tooth was severely inflamed, and the tooth itself was loose. Due to severe pain, the woman could not eat.

According to the picture, it became clear that the inflammation was serious, nerve necrosis occurred and the bone tissue around the tooth was severely damaged, its density decreased, so the tooth became mobile.

The patient really did not want to remove the tooth.

The treatment tactics were developed taking into account her wishes: on the first visit, the doctor treated the root canal, performed antiseptic rinses, and removed the purulent discharge. Then a strong antiseptic was placed in the root canal, the canal was closed with a temporary seal, and drug treatment was recommended. The second visit: the treatment gave a positive result, the pain went away, the tooth strengthened, became less mobile. This made it possible to remove the temporary paste and seal the root canal.

At the control third visit, a complete restoration of bone tissue was already observed.
