Uterine hypoplasia and pregnancy
Women with hypoplasia may experience infertility, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, and complications during and after childbirth. The risks depend on the degree of hypoplasia: with minor deviations from the normal size of the uterus and well-functioning ovaries, the prognosis is favorable, with severe hypoplasia, it is possible to use an IVF program with the involvement of a surrogate mother.
