Cerebrovascular diseases
The Clinic of Neurology and Neurosurgery of the European Medical Center offers its patients a full range of diagnostics and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases. For the treatment of acute vascular cerebral catastrophes, our clinic has an emergency service, a neuro-intensive care unit, a department of radiation diagnostics (CT and MRI of the brain in all necessary modalities), neurologists and neurosurgeons on duty. We work according to the most modern treatment protocols, including effective drug therapy, high-tech neurosurgical and endovascular techniques, and rehabilitation of impaired functions.
Chronic cerebrovascular disease
The Clinic of Neurology and Neurosurgery of the European Medical Center provides assistance to patients with chronic cerebrovascular disease. Patients with a diagnosis of dyscirculatory encephalopathy often come to our clinic. This is a controversial term that is not used in Western countries, which may conceal completely different vascular diseases with brain damage. Examination of such patients includes consultation with a neurologist, who determines the need for laboratory tests, functional studies of blood vessels and the nervous system, neuroimaging (CT or MRI of the brain, angiography of cerebral vessels, and others). A full-fledged examination allows you to clarify the nature of the condition and the existing symptoms, determine the prognosis and the necessary treatment.
