In 1993 he graduated from the Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali ibn Sino. In 1995, he completed his clinical residency in Cardiology (Tajik Institute of Postgraduate Medical Training).
In 2003, he completed clinical postgraduate studies in cardiology (A.N. Bakulev Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences).
In 2004, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic: "The importance of vascular growth factors in the development of coronary artery restenosis in patients with coronary artery disease after coronary angioplasty" (A.N. Bakulev Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences). In 2013, he defended his doctoral thesis on the topic: "New approaches to non-surgical treatment of chronic heart failure in patients with coronary heart disease" (A.N. Bakulev Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences).
