Since 1985, after graduating from the Medical Institute with honors (nominal fellow in surgery), clinical residency in vascular surgery.
Since 1986, he has specialized in endovascular diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system: ischemic heart disease (including acute myocardial infarction), heart defects, ischemic brain disease and its various vascular pathologies of extra– and intracranial localization, thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, atherosclerotic lesions of the arteries of the lower and upper extremities (including with diabetic foot syndrome), vasorenal hypertension, embolization of arteries and veins of various localization (including with uterine fibroids).
Competencies
Coronary and peripheral angioplasty, development of new stents, concepts of temporary stents, endoprosthetics of aortic aneurysms, temporary cava filters.
Experience and education
The experience of more than 10,000 endovascular surgical interventions on vessels of various localization, including innovative ones: endoprosthetics of aortic aneurysms, temporary stenting, carotid stenting, endovascular treatment of critical ischemia and diabetic foot syndrome, uterine artery embolization in uterine fibroids. In 2012, he was awarded the award for innovative work. academician E.N.Meshalkin.
Developer of new methods and special devices for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Author of 25 international patents. The author is the developer of an intravascular stent, which is used in global clinical practice under the name of the inventor, which is the only precedent in the history of Soviet and Russian medicine.
