The field of surgical specialization covers the surgical treatment of spinal pathology of all departments (experience of about 2000 operations, including operations on the cervical, lumbar and thoracic sections), as well as microsurgical treatment of vascular pathology of the brain and tumors of the base of the skull.

He started his medical practice in 2003
- 2005-2011 specializing in neurosurgery at the University Hospital of Helsinki
- 2010 - defended his PhD degree (with honors) at the University of Helsinki. The official opponent is the head of the Department of Neurosurgery at Yale University Hospital, Professor Murat Gunel (USA)
- Since 2011, he has been working as a certified neurosurgeon in Finland (Helsinki, Turku)
- 2011-2012 internship in microneurosurgery under the guidance of Prof. Juha Hernesniemi, Finland
- 2013 - Internship in microneurosurgery at Barrow Neurological Institute, Phoenix (USA)
- 2014 - internship in microneurosurgery at Sapporo Stroke Center (Japan)
- 2016 - internship in microneurosurgery at Munster University Clinic, (Germany)
- 2017 - received the title of Associate Professor of Neurosurgery in Finland
