In 2002 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic: "Chronic placental insufficiency in bacterial and viral infections (pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention, treatment)".

He has repeatedly made presentations at various scientific Russian and International congresses, symposiums and conferences on topical issues of obstetrics and gynecology (San Diego, USA, 2012; Rome, Italy, 2012; Dublin, Ireland, 2013; Glasgow, Scotland, 2014; Vancouver, Canada, 2015; New York, USA, 2016; Madrid, Spain, 2017; Washington, USA, 2018; Tokyo, Japan, 2019).
Twice winner of the National Award for the best doctors of Russia "Vocation" -2012 and -2015 in the nomination "For performing a unique operation that saved a person's life".
He was awarded the medal "In memory of the 850th anniversary of Moscow." He has a departmental award of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation – the badge "Excellent Healthcare Worker".
Under the supervision of V.L. Tyutyunnik, they defended: 1 dissertation for the degree of doctor and 5 for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences. Currently, he is the supervisor of 5 dissertations.

Experience and education
He completed an internship at the Women's Clinic of the University of Birmingham (UK).
From 1988 to 1992, he worked as a junior researcher at the 1st Obstetric Department of the Kulakov Scientific Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
Since 1994, he has worked as a researcher, since 1999 as a senior researcher, since 2007 as a leading researcher at the obstetric observational department, from January 2012 to March 2014 as chief physician, from March 2014 to 2015 as head of the obstetric observational department, since 2015 From 2019– he was the head of the 1st Obstetric Physiology department of the Center.
From 2013 to 2017, he worked as a professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Perinatology and Reproductology of the Faculty of Postgraduate Professional Education of Doctors at the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. From 2015 to 2019, he was a professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the National Medical Research Center of Obstetrics., Gynecology and Perinatology named after Academician V.I. Kulakov" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

Author of more than 650 scientific papers, teaching aids, including 15 monographs.
