He completed a specialization in psychiatry at the Scientific Center for Mental Health of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (Department for the Study of Borderline Mental Pathology and Psychosomatic Disorders). He completed professional retraining in psychotherapy at the I.M. Sechenov Moscow State Medical University. Additionally, he studied cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and schema therapy at the Cognitive Behavior Therapy training (Beck Institute).
