IVF without stimulation in the natural cycle: who is shown?
A reproductologist can offer this infertility treatment program under the following conditions:

How to prepare for the program

Some women are prescribed an endometrial biopsy or hysteroscopy according to their indications.
The main examination for men is a spermogram, which, in addition to quantitative and qualitative characteristics, allows us to judge:

the presence of antisperm antibodies;

morphological features.
Contraindications for IVF are oncological pathologies, heart defects, genital abnormalities that prevent normal fetal gestation and other conditions that require further examination.
It will be necessary to postpone the procedure to a later date if the woman has infectious diseases, disorders of the reproductive organs, benign formations in the uterine cavity and ovaries. In this case, you can join the program only after appropriate treatment and stabilization of the patient's body.
Algorithm of IVF in a natural cycle
The procedure is carried out in several stages:

Ultrasound monitoring of follicle growth. The follicle matures and develops in a natural environment in a woman's body without the use of stimulant drugs.

Ovarian puncture. The collection of a mature oocyte can be carried out both without anesthesia and through light anesthesia. 36 hours before the procedure, an ovulation trigger, HCG, must be introduced.

Fertilization. The collected oocyte is fertilized in the laboratory with the biomaterial of a partner or donor.

Embryo transfer. After cultivation, the embryo is transferred to the uterine cavity.
