Controlled ovulation induction
Controlled ovulation induction consists in stimulating ovulation with the help of medications for further natural fertilization or artificial insemination in the clinic. We offer this method to young patients with passable fallopian tubes, whose only problem is the lack of full-fledged ovulation.
The reproductologist is faced with the task of growing 1-3 follicles. Although seemingly simple, it often requires considerable effort on the part of the doctor. That is why this method of infertility treatment is carried out under ultrasound control of growing follicles in order to change the dose of stimulating drugs in a timely manner, if necessary. In some cases, especially in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome, it is not possible to achieve monofolycular growth. Then you have to interrupt the stimulation or switch to an IVF program for harvesting all growing follicles. The probability of pregnancy in one stimulated cycle is not very high, about 15-20%. This indicator persists for three months. Further, the efficiency drops even lower. That is why we try not to spend more than 3-4 cycles of stimulation, and in the absence of a result, we still proceed to href="/programs_and_services/services/klinika-reproduktivnoy-i-prenatalnoy-mediciny_lechenie-besplodiya_eko/"> the IVF program.
