Lipofilling
Lipofilling is one of the most complex and multifaceted techniques used to correct age-related changes. The procedure is based on the transplantation of excess adipose tissue of the patient from one area of the body to another, in order to replenish the necessary volumes in a specific area.
In aesthetic medicine, lipofilling has found active use as an auxiliary technique that makes it possible to perfect the results of plastic surgery. The scope of this procedure is as extensive as possible:
- correction of cheekbones after facelift;
- correction of nasolabial folds of various depths;
- aestheticization of body contours;
- correction of chin lines, creation of the correct neck-chin angle;
- lip lipofilling is an effective addition to the Bulhorn procedure and cheiloplasty;
- rejuvenation of the periorbital zone (elimination of hollowed-out eye sockets);
- lipofilling significantly improves the results of blepharoplasty;
- correction of buttocks shape, improvement of contours of arms and legs; Lipofilling is advisable as the final stage of mammoplasty, during which the breast outlines are idealized.
And this is not a complete list of situations where this technique finds effective use. Lipofilling is not always used as an adjunct to plastic surgery. It acts, among other things, as a self-sufficient procedure for minimally invasive rejuvenation.
The transplanted lipid tissue is pretreated, after which the prepared material is injected into the correction zones. In some cases, the lipid tissue can additionally be enriched with stem cells. The fatty substance does not come into confrontation with the body, which excludes its rejection and the appearance of allergic reactions.
The effectiveness of lipofilling is significantly higher than that of existing analog procedures. If we compare it with injections of fillers, which are created on the basis of rapidly absorbable hyaluronic acid, we can note several fundamental advantages. First of all, the durability of the achieved result, as well as the fact that lipomodeling makes it possible to work with large areas of the body, giving them the necessary contours and the desired volume.
