Breast plastic surgery with ARION implants

We bring to your attention an interview with Dr. Nicolas Vaillaud, a leading plastic surgeon and head of the EMC Aesthetic Clinic in Orlovsky Lane.We discussed the possibilities of breast plastic surgery using French ARION implants and discussed in detail how exactly the doctor implements his principle of "natural surgery" in practice.
- What are your immediate professional plans?
- I am glad to head the Aesthetic Clinic of the European Medical Center in Moscow in Orlovsky Lane, as it is a clinical organization operating according to European standards, everything here is very close to me, because I myself am a graduate of the French medical school and have worked in the European Union for a long time. I hope that my efforts to develop aesthetic medicine at EMC will benefit the company, and even the highest demands of our patients will be met. I will also be very happy to continue working as a consultant for the ARION Breast Implant manufacturing Corporation. I had the opportunity to talk with the doctor himself, Mr. Arion, the founder of the company. Our meeting took place on the Cote d'Azur, where the ARION General Laboratory is located. He was a very pleasant person who was happy to share his experience. He was always looking for solutions to problems related to effective breast plastic surgery. And he didn't stop until he found these solutions. That's how he was the first in the world to come up with the idea to create a kind of "biological implants" – azure in color! with a special filler that is absolutely physiological for the human body.
- What has your collaboration with Mr.Arion resulted in?
- I met him 12 years ago – we discussed the production of Hydrogel CMC implants, but their creation then required a lot of money. Saline-filled implants reigned supreme on the Olympus of plastic surgery, and silicone's popularity was only gaining momentum. ARION BIO implants have always stood apart and always occupied their niche – they are for those patients for whom every molecule of a substance is extremely important if this substance enters their body. At that time, there were only two manufacturers of breast implants "without silicone" in the world, but they were two fundamentally different products. I was already familiar with the presidents of these corporations, and at some point I realized that ARION was my choice. For my patients, I preferred ARION bioimplants with a carboxymethylcellulose filler, which, even if the shell ruptures, do not cause negative effects. And the body successfully copes with force majeure, if such a problem arises. Besides, these implants have a silky shell and a great texture. The breast with the "blue implants" looks natural: it sways and "spreads" when the patient lies on her back. But when she stands, the attractive shape and height of her breasts also remain. These are my observations over the last years of my work... And I am glad that we once exchanged experiences with monsieur Arion, and these solutions have become in many ways basic for the organization of production. All of this is ultimately for the benefit of the patients.
- What are the advantages of this brand of implants?
- ARION blue bioimplants are the optimal solution to achieve the most natural result after breast plastic surgery. The breasts remain mobile and "fluid" – like those of the owners of "their" magnificent bust. ARION's latest generation silicone implants also have a lot of advantages – they have everything you need for patient safety and to achieve high aesthetic results. There are no advantages that other brands of implants would have and ARION would not have. I personally really like the shapes of AX anatomical implants, which have different projection heights in the areola area, which allows you to create perfect and sexy breasts. The way it was described by the legendary Brazilian plastic surgeon Ivo Pitangi. The texture of the surface is also important, which is designed to avoid rotation of the anatomically shaped implant.
-What form of implants did your French patients usually choose?
- In France, 90% of my patients opted for anatomically shaped implants, and I offer round implants to those who already have a sufficient bust volume, and only a slight increase and lifting is required. If there are very few tissues of their own, the round implant will become noticeable a year after the operation, and the breast will be "American" shaped.
- You practice "natural surgery". How is this approach implemented when mammoplasty is performed on different patients?
- Eight years ago, patients from Russia, Germany, and the United States were the most likely to request breast augmentation compared to French women. But since then, in my opinion, everything has changed, and the natural elegance and harmony of the breast is above all. Such breasts look good in a beautiful dress and negligee. I always advise patients who come to me for consultations to have plastic surgery based on their natural breast shape and size. Most of the time, I perform plastic surgery on Russian women with slightly larger implants than was required for French women. This is due to the fact that Russian women have a genetically small breast size, but a wide rib cage.In my opinion, "Natural surgery" is the ability of a surgeon to "fit in" with all his adjustments to the image and appearance parameters of a woman that she inherited from her mother and father. So that she would not feel different after the operation, but would appreciate that she had become more attractive. Especially sexually attractive. Because it gives you self-confidence, and confidence is the key to a woman's success in life.
- Are there any patients among your patients who specifically travel from other countries to have mammoplasty performed at your place?
- I have enough foreign patients in both France and Russia, but it is more professional to work with those whom I can invite at any time for examination after surgery or answer all questions. The important rule for me is the "patient who is satisfied with the operation" – this is the one who returns to the clinic after successful plastic surgery to do any injections, laser procedures, or just ask for advice. I have patients whom I have been treating for more than 10 years. We work to improve our appearance, preserve and enhance youth. And here again, I consider it my main task to make sure that their appearance after corrections would not be exagere, that is, "too much". And this is another principle of "natural surgery".
