Ultrasound of the mammary glands
Indications
- women under 40 years of age;
- pregnancy (routine examination or if there are complaints);
- childhood;
- breast inflammation associated with lactation (lactostasis, mastitis);
- radiologically "dense" mammary glands (when mammography data is insufficient);
- monitoring of breast biopsy under ultrasound control.
There are no contraindications.
Preparation
- It is carried out from the 5th to the 12th day of the menstrual cycle. During menopause, ultrasound of the mammary glands is performed on any day.
- The results of the survey are provided in the form of a digital disk with images, and we can also send a link to the study uploaded to the file exchanger by e-mail.
