A single-component vaccine for vaccination and revaccination, Sputnik Lite, is available in the EMC.

Before the introduction of the vaccine, a consultation and examination by a general practitioner is carried out. The doctor will make sure that there are no contraindications, as well as indications for vaccination. ⁣

In a pandemic, for your safety, we recommend that you take a PCR test no earlier than 48 hours before vaccination to ensure that there is no infection, since vaccination against the background of the disease is contraindicated. As an alternative to the PCR test, an express antigen test can be performed (the result is within 15 minutes) .

The vaccine is free, and the cost of a doctor's appointment before vaccination is 58 euros.

Sputnik Lite has been recommended since the age of 18 and is approved for revaccination for people over 60 years of age.

We remind you that revaccination during a pandemic is recommended six months after vaccination, regardless of the level of antibodies. The primary vaccination is carried out six months after the COVID-19 patient.
