EMC Institute of Oncology
1. An integrated approach
Our ideology of providing medical care is an integrated and individual approach. What does this mean for the patient? By seeking advice from an oncologist, you receive an opinion prepared by a multidisciplinary group of doctors who will participate in the treatment.
Based on the research results, taking into account personal risks and all possible reactions to the intended treatment, each patient is offered a plan that will be adjusted as necessary during treatment.
2. American and Western European protocols
The diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases at the EMC are carried out according to modern American and Western European protocols, which ensures continuity of treatment if patients have already started it in foreign clinics.
3. High-quality diagnostics
The EMC pays special attention to high-quality diagnostics. It is extremely important for an oncologist to know not only about the presence of education, but also about its nature, prevalence, whether it is primary or metastatic, whether it affects organs and their functions. In addition, information about the nature of education is needed. That is why the EMC often recommends a revision of the histological material (obtained during a biopsy or after surgery).
4. A full cycle of care for cancer patients
The EMC hospital on Shchepkina St. has implemented a full cycle of care for cancer patients: from diagnosis (including PET and SPECT) and treatment (chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy, oncosurgery, radiation therapy) to palliative care and anesthesia. Psychologists and rehabilitologists specialized in oncology work with patients. We accept patients with any oncological diagnosis at any stage of the disease, emergency hospitalization and intensive care are carried out around the clock.
5. Patient's quality of life is our priority
One of our main priorities is to preserve the quality of life and comfort of patients and their relatives. Therefore, if the patient's condition allows it, oncological treatment at the EMC is carried out mainly on an outpatient basis, so that he can stay at home most of the day next to his loved ones.
Please contact the EMC for a second opinion, we will use all our strength and knowledge to be useful in this difficult moment.
