Velvet handles

Men need skin care no less than women. The skin of the hands is especially susceptible to external influences and age-related changes. The article for the magazine "Women's Secrets" provides basic recommendations to readers on how to properly care for the skin of the hands of a beloved man and give them a well-groomed appearance.

Often, even wealthy, well-groomed and fit men have hands like those who are engaged in heavy physical labor: rough, calloused, dry, cracked and reddened. And the cleaner a person is, the worse his hands look. This is not accidental. After all, frequent contact with water is the main cause of these troubles. And young people who take care of their appearance, as a rule, strictly follow the rules of hygiene, that is, they take a shower in the morning and evening.

In addition, they visit the gym during the day, where they also need water treatments, plus they wash their hands 6-7 times while in the office. Such an abundance of fluid destroys the protective lipid mantle of the hands, which not only blocks the path of bacteria and viruses, but also makes their skin soft and supple. The lipid mantle can repair itself, because it consists of what is produced by special sebaceous glands. However, it takes time to recreate the protective layer, and with frequent hand washing, the glands simply do not have time to do their job.

It is worth noting that women have much better hands than men. But this does not mean that ladies are more clean. They just painstakingly monitor the skin of their hands, knowing that it's not the face that gives away age, but the hands. Not wanting to advertise their passport information, women use a cream or lotion every time after contact with a liquid. This should be taught to men as well. After all, creams not only help to put your hands in order, but also restore the protective lipid film. And this is important. Without it, it is easier for bacteria and viruses to penetrate the skin, especially when it begins to crack from dryness. Once inside, the pests can provoke an unpleasant disease that will affect not only the hands, but the entire body as a whole.

It is not easy to teach a loved one to use the cream often. You'll have to resort to a military ruse: buy a lot of different creams and place them wherever possible. Psychologists have found that men are more willing to use cosmetics when they have it at hand and do not need to "strain" and look for it. When choosing a cream, keep in mind that the more your hands are running, the thicker it should be. For example, if the skin of the hands resembles the skin of the elbows, you will need a very dense product, similar in consistency to wax. Make sure that the cream contains urea. Do not be afraid of this word – it has nothing to do with urine therapy. Urea is a component that deeply moisturizes the skin and at the same time retains moisture, preventing it from evaporating.
