The EMC Dermatovenerology department performs the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections such as herpes, chlamydia, ureaplasmosis, mycoplasmosis, gardnerellosis, trichomoniasis, etc. In-depth microbiological diagnostics using cultural methods is carried out to determine the type of pathogen and the selection of sensitivity to antibiotics, DNA diagnostics, immunological examination with the determination of antibodies and antigens of pathogens.
For diagnosis, video dermatoscopy, cytological and histopathological examination, microbiological microscopy, seeding for flora and determination of sensitivity to antibiotics are used.
