Breast cancer (BC) consistently ranks first in terms of the frequency of detection and mortality among malignant diseases among women worldwide, including Russia.

Approximately 12% of women in the general population may develop breast cancer during their lifetime.Successful diagnosis and timely treatment require disease prevention before the onset of its clinical manifestations – screening.

A breast cancer screening system has been adopted worldwide, consisting of annual or biannual studies of women starting from the age of 40-45 (depending on the national program) .

The main research method accepted as a diagnostic standard is considered to be digital mammography. In the group of women at high risk for the disease, magnetic resonance imaging with contrast alternating with ultrasound of the mammary glands every 6 months.

Malignant kidney tumor

CT scan revealed a malignant kidney tumor in my brother. The tumor size is 3x7, which corresponds to stage 2. Tell me, please, how long does it take for such a tumor to be developed? And is it possible to remove the tumor surgically (total kidney removal)?
