Scientific activity
The main area of scientific research is the diagnosis and therapy of affective mood disorders. The department headed by Kostyukova E.G. conducts research aimed at developing medicinal methods of relief therapy and secondary prevention of relapses of affective mood disorders.
The results of the unit's work formed the basis for recommendations for practitioners on the treatment of affective mood disorders. He is the co-author of two federal clinical guidelines, ten monographs and two patents, and has more than 250 scientific publications, including in foreign publications.
He is a member of the Editorial board of the P.B. Gannushkin Journal of Psychopharmacotherapy, a member of the Expert council of the World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry, a member of the problem commission of the Federal State Budgetary Institution National Medical Research Center of Psychiatry and Narcology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
Throughout the entire period of scientific work, he carries out medical advisory, pedagogical and lecture activities within the framework of the training program for residents, educational seminars, advanced training courses for doctors and regional scientific and practical conferences. Participates in the organization of specialized symposiums at all-Russian conferences, makes presentations, presenting the scientific results of the work of the headed department.
