In 2009, he successfully defended his PhD thesis at the Scientific Research Institute of Ear, Throat, Nose and Speech in St. Petersburg.
In 2010, he specialized in the course of endoscopic nasal surgery at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (RMAPO) at the Medical Center of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation in Moscow.
In 2012, he completed his specialization at the clinic "Clinica di Otorinolaringoiatria" (Italy, Milan) under the guidance of Professor P. Castelnuovo, President of the Italian Society of Rhinology, and Professor Pietro Palma, President of the European Society of Plastic Surgeons.
In 2012-2013, he completed a refresher course in endoscopic nasal surgery at the University Hospital of Graz (Austria) under the supervision of Professor H. Stammberger
In 2016, he specialized in the leading multidisciplinary clinic - NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, as well as at the Department of Otolaryngology at Cornell University, New York, USA.
In 2018, he completed an internship in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Hadassah Clinic (Jerusalem, Israel).
In 2023, he confirmed the specialization of an otorhinolaryngologist in Israel (Israel Medical Association).
He plans to defend his doctoral thesis on complications and unsatisfactory outcomes of treatment of surgical diseases of the nose.
Dr. Yakobashvili performs the full range of outpatient care, planned and emergency surgery of ENT organs.

Endoscopic nasal surgery in children and adults, pediatric otorhinolaryngology: adenotonsillar pathology, allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, otosurgery, treatment of snoring and sleep apnea.
Experience and education
In 2004, he graduated from Kuban State Medical University (KubSMU).
He completed his residency at the Department of ENT Diseases at KubSMU, after which he entered full-time postgraduate studies.
