Preservation of fertility in patients with cancer
Difficulties with the onset of pregnancy are a fairly common problem in modern society, fortunately, medicine today has effective methods and technologies to overcome infertility. Nevertheless, sometimes the state of health calls into question the possibility of procreation. In particular, this applies to people with cancer.
Through the joint efforts of specialists Clinics of reproductive and prenatal medicine, The Gynecology Clinic has developed a program to preserve fertility for patients of reproductive age with oncological diseases.
Thanks to this program, patients have the opportunity to save their own biological material (sperm and eggs) for later use after treatment. This is necessary before undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy, which have a negative impact on reproductive health.

Germ cells are cryopreserved and can be stored indefinitely in the EMC cryobank. After achieving remission, patients can return to the issue of procreation and receive genetically native babies in IVF programs or through surrogacy.
