General cryotherapy is a procedure for exposing the body to cold, during which a person is in cryosauna. The temperature in it varies from -140 C to — 180 C.
Short-term exposure to low temperatures activates all the adaptive resources of the body: thermoregulation, immune, endocrine and nervous systems, has analgesic, decongestant and anti-inflammatory effects, enhances lymph flow.
Cryotherapy also has an antidepressant and anti-anxiety effect.
The session usually lasts 3 minutes. During this time, the patient is under the supervision of a doctor.
The course consists of 10-15 procedures with an interval of 2-3 times a week.
