Medical certificate for the Belgian Embassy
At the European Medical Center (EMC), Shchepkina 35, you can apply for a certificate to be submitted to the Embassy of Belgium (Certificat Belgique).
The certificate (Certificat Belgique) is issued by a general practitioner, Hajime Esaki, during a face-to-face consultation and based on research results:
- blood test for syphilis (the result is valid for a month)
- urinalysis for protein and sugar (included in the general urinalysis, the result is valid for a month)
- chest X-ray (valid for six months)
- physical examination by Dr. Esaki
Important: when applying, you must have your national and foreign passports (or their photocopies/photographs) with you.
All these studies can be completed both at the place of residence and in a short time at the European Medical Center.
The certificate is issued only in the presence of the patient. Examination of children is also mandatory. Documents cannot be issued without an examination of the patient by a doctor (adult or child).
All studies can be done at the place of residence or in the EMC laboratory. If laboratory tests are carried out at the EMC and the X-ray results are available, the Belgique Certificate can be obtained as early as 1-3 days after the initial consultation (as the research results are received).
Emergency tests are available at the EMC. The results are 1.5-2 hours after the tests.
The certificate is valid for 6 months from the date of receipt.
