Vaginoplasty (colporraphy) is a procedure for narrowing the vagina.
INDICATIONS FOR VAGINOPLASTY
Vaginoplasty is performed if the walls of the vagina are lowered. Repeated or severe childbirth can lead to such consequences, during which significant tissue stretching and weakening of the pelvic floor muscles occur.

HOW IS VAGINAL NARROWING PERFORMED
Specialists perform colporraphy using spinal or intravenous anesthesia. During the operation, the specialist excises the excess tissue of the overgrown mucous membranes of the vagina, then applies self-absorbable sutures. After some time, there are no traces of surgical intervention.

PREPARATION FOR VAGINAL CONSTRICTION

- general blood tests;
- urine tests;
- research on HIV, hepatitis, etc.
