More than 90% of all operations for benign diseases in our Clinic are performed using minimally invasive (laparoscopy, hysteroscopy of the uterus) and robot-assisted technologies. Lasers, ultrasound, cryo-, radio- and electric power are widely used.
The Clinic's capabilities allow for interventions with minimal trauma to surrounding tissues, ensure rapid recovery after surgery, significantly reduce the incidence of complications and minimize cosmetic skin defects. The main advantage of minimally invasive surgeries is the ability in some cases to preserve organ function during surgical treatment.
Operations at the Clinic are performed both as planned and as an emergency.
Planned laparoscopic gynecological interventions include:
-
diagnostic laparoscopy (with biopsy);
-
surgical sterilization;
-
reconstructive surgery for chronic inflammatory diseases of the fallopian tubes and concomitant infertility;
-
surgery for ovarian cysts, polycystic ovary syndrome;
-
removal of the fallopian tube(s) when it (they) is affected by the inflammatory process (usually in preparation for IVF);
-
surgical treatment of endometriosis;
-
removal of nodules uterine fibroids;
-
removal of the uterus by laparoscopy (hysterectomy);
-
reconstructive plastic surgery for prolapse of the genitals;
-
urinary incontinence surgery.
According to emergency indications, laparoscopic operations are performed when:
-
tubal pregnancy;
-
rupture of an ovarian cyst with bleeding (apoplexy);
-
twist ovaries and fallopian tubes;
-
twist the nodes of uterine fibroids;
-
acute inflammatory diseases of the uterus (purulent salpingitis, pyosalpinx, purulent tubo-ovarian formations);
-
the need for differential diagnosis between acute surgical and gynecological pathology.
