Kirill Pavlovich graduated with honors from Yaroslavl Medical Institute and postgraduate studies at the Department of Operative Surgery of the Institute. In 1985, he defended his PhD thesis on the improvement of autovenous artery plastic surgery and in 1992 - his doctoral thesis on microsurgical tissue plastic surgery for injuries and their consequences.
Professor Pshenisnov is certified in the following fields: surgery, traumatology-orthopedics and plastic surgery. He has the highest qualification category of a surgeon.
Professor Pshenisnov has more than 25 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery. He has repeatedly interned in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in the USA and Western European countries. In 1993, the first Russian surgeon completed a full training program at the Foundation for Plastic Surgery (PSEF), USA. During his business trips abroad, as a visiting professor, he has repeatedly delivered lectures and reports, as well as demonstration operations (USA, Netherlands, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Finland, Vietnam, Australia, Brazil, Morocco, etc.). Kirill Pavlovich is the head of the plastic surgery course at the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of the Yaroslavl State Medical Academy, as well as a professor at the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Russian State Medical University (Moscow). Since 1994, Professor Pshenisnov has been the founder and a certified member of the Board of the Russian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (Moscow, Russia).
Kirill Pavlovich is also Chairman of the Committee on Education of the OPREH and Chairman of the Board of the Northeastern Non-Profit Partnership of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. He is a member of the international communities of plastic and reconstructive surgeons (ISAPS, WSRM, ASPS).
Professor Pshenisnov is the editor-in-chief of the journal Selected Issues of Plastic Surgery. Member of the editorial boards of the journals Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology, Russian Rhinology and Issues of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as the editorial board of the international journal Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (editor-in-chief Tom Biggs). He is a member of the Board of foreign reviewers of the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (USA, editor-in-chief Rod Rohrich).
The professor has more than 270 scientific papers published in Russia and abroad. He has 4 copyright certificates for inventions of new methods of surgical operations, owns three patents for new medical instruments. Professor Pshenisnov has been awarded numerous prizes in international scientific competitions, and has been awarded diplomas and medals from the Academy of Medical Sciences and the Ministry of Higher Education. He is the winner of the national professional award "Golden Lancet" in the nomination "Recognition" (2008).
